LUCIA CINEK (MOTLIK), MACOM, LAC. 

Lucia is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist holding a Masters Degree of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbalism from the acclaimed Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine (SIEAM). Through her studies she gained valuable apprentice-style training that today allows her to treat a wide variety of conditions.

Lucia’s life-long interest in natural medicine sprung from an early age. A large part of her childhood was spent visiting family in the Czech countryside, where she loved spending time in nature, and began to be fascinated by its healing properties.

Her passion for natural healing and helping people overcome illness continued throughout her adolescence and inspired her to go to medical school, becoming a pre-med student at the University of Washington in 2007. After earning her Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology, she went on to earn her Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbalism from SIEAM, one of the nation's leading schools of Chinese Medicine.

Upon graduating, Lucia treated many conditions in Seattle and spent two years practicing on the Big Island of Hawaii. Lucia now lives with her husband in the beautiful PNW bringing her love for oriental medicine to her community.
 
Outside of work Lucia enjoys spending time in nature, traveling, and quality time with friends and family.
